PlaceNote is a location-based reminder app. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Location Data

PlaceNote uses your device location to create and trigger location-based reminders. Location access may be requested as “Always” so reminders can work reliably while the app is in the background or not open.

Your saved locations and notes are stored locally on your device. PlaceNote does not transmit your precise location history to Pyoba LLC.

Notifications

PlaceNote uses local notifications to show reminders when you enter or leave a saved location. Notification permission can be changed at any time in your device settings.

Data Collection

PlaceNote does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, analytics data, or other personal information.

Third-Party Services

PlaceNote does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.

Data Storage and Deletion

Your Place Notes are stored on your device. You can delete individual notes in the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data.

Children

PlaceNote does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
